Advantages

• The active ingredient in SylLockPlus™– N-(N-Butyl) Thiophosphoric Triamide (NBPT) – reduces the risk of nitrogen loss through volatilization by inhibiting the urease enzymes while the nitrogen is on the soil surface.
• Once the nitrogen is below the surface, a second active ingredient – dicyandiamide (DCD) – decreases leaching and denitrification by inhibiting the enzymes that convert ammonium to nitrate, extending the plant’s time for uptake.
• NBPT and DCD are both proven and documented urease and nitrification inhibitors.
