Dock Worker - Akron, Ohio

Job Responsibilities:

Materials Handling:

Loading and unloading product into and from truck trailers using forklift truck or pump truck (and other equipment as assigned)
Dock tagging and measuring product
Hand-bombing product from trailer to pallet and other as assigned
Load orders of a manifest sheet
Maintain and organize inventory

Computer Work:

Printing Dock tags
General administrative assistant to Warehouse Manager

Safe Work Practices:

Following safety procedures in order to perform all aspects of the job in a safe manner for him/herself and others
Wearing personal protective equipment required
Maintain a clean workplace
Participating in health & safety courses, as required

Other Duties:

Assisting others in the department as instructed by their supervisor.

Requirements:

1-2 years experience in materials handling in a warehouse.
Certified Forklift Operator (Preferred, but not required)
This is a full-time position, available to work Monday to Friday. Shift: 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm
We cross dock and load full transports.
Our terminal is located in Akron.

Hourly Rate: $18.50/hr.
