DZ Owner Operator

Sylvite Transportation, part of Canada’s largest independently owned fertilizer supplier, is looking for experienced DZ Owner Operators to join our Burlington team. In this role, you’ll help move essential products across Ontario, playing a critical part in keeping the supply chain flowing.

What You’ll Do

As a DZ Owner Operator, you’ll be responsible for safe and timely pickup and delivery of goods across Ontario. You’ll play a vital role in connecting our customers with the products they need while upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance.

• Safely operate your own truck to complete deliveries and pickups within Ontario.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and report any maintenance issues.
• Follow all Federal and Provincial transportation regulations, including hours-of-service compliance.
• Maintain accurate documentation for deliveries, inspections, and invoicing.
• Provide professional, courteous service to customers at all times.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch for scheduling, delays, and updates.
• Support team development by mentoring less-experienced drivers when needed.

Who We’re Looking For

• Valid DZ commercial driver’s license.
• Owner Operator with at least 2 years of verifiable DZ driving experience.
• Strong safety record, clean CVOR, and police clearance certificate.
• Committed to professionalism, customer service, and compliance with transportation regulations.
