Fleet Supervisor
Sylvite’s Transportation and Logistics division is expanding, and we are looking for a dynamic Fleet Supervisor to oversee fleet operations across North America. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on planning, organizing, and coaching teams to deliver results safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do
- Oversee day-to-day fleet operations, safety, compliance, and maintenance programs.
- Develop and monitor maintenance schedules to maximize equipment performance and lifespan.
- Collaborate with operations managers to assess fleet usage, report on asset condition, and plan for future requirements.
- Lead, coach, and mentor staff, fostering a safe, productive, and cooperative work environment.
- Work with Human Resources to recruit, retain, and develop mechanical staff.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with suppliers.
- Stay connected to industry trends by participating in professional associations and attending conferences.
About You
You’re a proactive leader with a strong operational mindset. Your background and skills include:
- 5–8 years in transportation, logistics, or a related field.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and manage teams effectively.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and business acumen.
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of contracts, specifications, and asset management.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
