Manufacturing Planner

Sylvite is currently seeking a Manufacturing Planner to join our Nu-Tec Specialty Products team in Putnam. This role plays a key part in coordinating plant operations, ensuring production runs efficiently, safely, and in alignment with customer demand.

About the Role

The Manufacturing Planner is responsible for organizing and coordinating all aspects of production at our Putnam facility. This includes planning raw material intake, scheduling manufacturing activities, managing inventory flow, and ensuring products are produced and shipped on time.

This role works closely with plant operations, logistics, and internal teams to maintain a steady, efficient workflow while supporting both internal and external customer needs. It requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to adapt quickly, and clear communication across departments.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead manufacturing planning activities, including production scheduling and coordination
  • Plan and manage bulk material receiving and inventory flow
  • Prepare and maintain manufacturing reports and required documentation
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely production and delivery
  • Support external customer service through accurate and responsive communication
  • Maintain organized inventory storage and support plant operations
  • Contribute to plant safety and security standards
  • Adjust plans and priorities as needed in a fast-paced environment

About You

  • Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with ag-related or similar operational software is an asset
  • Highly detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, inventory control, or a related field
