Yard Policies
Sylvite is committed to the protection of its employees, contractors and visitors. Sylvite will continue to maintain a safe working environment in order to prevent occupational injury and illness. All employees, contractors and employees of contractors are responsible for complying with the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and its regulations and the Canada Labour Code (CLC) and its regulations, depending on the line of business services being offered to, along with Sylvite health and safety responsibilities. All contractors must sign in at the work location and will adhere to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements and policies at all times
Required PPE
CSA approved safety boots or shoes (green triangle) are required at all times. Retro-reflective high-visibility (Hi-Vis) clothing must be worn at all times.
