Frequently Asked Questions
How does FS2000™ work?
When should FS2000™ be applied?
It is most effective when applied before precipitation begins, preventing ice buildup. It can also be used after plowing to prevent refreezing.
Is FS2000™ safe for the environment?
Yes, FS2000™ contains a plant-based derivative that minimizes environmental impact. It has lower chloride levels than traditional de-icers, reducing harm to vegetation and groundwater.
How does FS2000™ compare to granular ice melters?
Unlike granular melters, which work from the top down, FS2000™ works from the bottom up. It stays in place, doesn’t track into buildings, and provides more efficient, long-lasting ice prevention.
