At our Hamilton Terminal location, Sylvite receives shipments of bulk, raw fertilizer, as well as liquid fertilizer and solutions, by vessel. Annually, we receive 140,000MT of raw fertilizer to serve the markets in Ontario and Eastern Canada. Our dry storage capability is 25,000MT, and our liquid storage capability is 38,000MT. Once product is received, our team works to quickly expedite bulk fertilizers by truck throughout Ontario, as well as other in-land destinations.

At Sylvite’s Putnam branch, dry bulk fertilizers, feed and packaged products arrive by highway or rail and are stored in heated or unheated storage facilities based on customer needs. The facility has several bagging lines to support packaging needs (including bags, totes and drums) and is operated by staff trained in the handling and storage of hazardous goods. Our Putnam branch is ideally located for fast and easy delivery and shipment by both rail and highway.
