Job Responsibilities:
- Driving a straight truck Based out of Putnam. All local driving
- Pickup and delivery of company trucks / trailers (straight truck will be required to use a pallet jack and liftgate potentially on a daily basis)
- Load and unload trailer contents in a safe manner, following required procedures
- Daily coordination with Dispatch Department
- Complete daily truck inspections
- Report all vehicle or trailer damage as immediately as possible
- Follow safe driving techniques, participate and contribute to company safety programs.
- Adhere to all laws, Federal, Regional and jurisdictional as outlined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Standards
- Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor or terminal manager
Education/Experience:
- You must have 2 solid years for driving experience
- With a Class DZ license
- Have a clean CVOR and Driver abstract
- You must be bondable
- Monday to Friday day shift, 8 to 12 hours
