Today, we are going to be looking at some common issues that can occur in any of our field crops, nutrient deficiencies.
Nutrient deficiencies occur when the plant are unable to take up the essential nutrients they need for growth. This can occur at any point in the growing season, but especially in times of stress (ie. Hot/cold, dry/wet).
Primary nutrients are Nitrogen, Phophorus, and Potassium (N-P-K) that are the nutrients that we apply in the greatest amounts to most of our field crops. It is quite common to see these deficiency symptoms in the fields in different situations.
