Muriate of Potash (MOP)

Muriate of potash MOP, or potassium chloride, is the most commonly used potash fertilizer and can be used to farm a variety of foods, particularly chloride-loving vegetables.

Product Description

Also known as MOP, Muriate of Potash is mined from potassium-rich salts, most commonly potassium chloride (KCl).

Analysis: 0 – 0 – 62

Properties: White granular product

Application Methods

  • Broadcast (dry surface application)
  • Banded (adjacent to the seedbed)

  • Protects against draught by maintaining plants water content which in turn is a benefit for photosynthesis as leafs maintain their shape / vigor.
