Job Responsibilities

• Perform crop protection and fertilization applications via self-propelled sprayers and airflow machines
• Provide high quality, intricate and detailed custom application services for growers
• Maintain fertilizer spreading and crop protection spraying logs
• Communicate with support vehicles and office staff
• Perform general maintenance where needed (equipment, spreaders, etc.)
• Assist in soil sampling and customer service

Experience

• Good understanding of agricultural practices and farm equipment
• Team player, good communication skills, highly organized, dependable
• Willing to work long hours during the peak season
• Clean driving record, ‘G’ license or ability to obtain
• Agricultural exterminator license is an asset
• Nutrient application licence is an asset
• Grain elevator or fertilizer blending experience is an asset
• Loader experience is an asset
